Joining the Library

The Library is open to everyone -

Just fill in an application form available from the library counter. Onchan Library is FREE for Onchan residents & ratepayers. Subscription charges apply for non-residents.

Onchan Public Library is totally funded by Onchan ratepayers & library subscriptions. The library very much appreciates the support of residents from Onchan and neighboring communities. All the libraries on the Island are funded by some form of subscription.

Your library membership entitles you to borrow 4 items at a time – books, audio or video – and you are welcome to use the library as often as you like. There is no charge to request books from Onchan Library, and we appreciate suggestions for new titles.

Subscriptions

There is no charge for Onchan residents & ratepayers.

Library Subscriptions for residents living outside Onchan:

Students	£2.50
Pensioners	£7.50
Registered Disability	£7.50
Adults	£12.00 £6.00 for 6 months
Subscriptions are valid for one year from the date of joining, and are subject to change without notice.
